Friends of Scouting: The Pine Tree Council Annual Friends of Scouting (FOS) fundraising campaign is here. FOS is an annual fundraising campaign that gives Scouts, their families and interested people in the community an opportunity to contribute to the financial support of the Council. This fundraising campaign helps support the council in the following ways: camp maintenance, keep camp registration fees low, organizing new units, servicing existing units, maintaining service center including records, information and support staff, and support for professional staff. Jason Mongeon is the 2011 Family Friends of Scouting Chairman. To schedule your unit’s family presentation, please contact Jason or Andrew Rueger.
Our next Roundtable will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Sanford High School starting at 7:00 PM. With the Roundtables operating separately, your unit will want to have representatives to be in each Roundtable area (Cub Scout/Boy Scout) and Cub Scout program level (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos). Hope to see you there! Thank you for all you do for the Scouts in York District!
